LATINA Style was honored to announce the Accenture Military Employee Resource Group as the 2023 Corporate Veteran ERG, and Colonel Lisa Carrington Firmin, USAF Retired, CEO/Founder, Carrington Firmin LLC, as the 2023 Veteran of the Year.

Following these announcements, the first session “Powerful Leadership Lessons… Leading by Example,” brought together successful Latinas in the military to share lessons learned, experiences gained throughout the years, and ways to overcome challenges.

     Founded in 2004, the National LATINA Symposium honors Latina excellence in the military by bringing together the largest gathering of senior Latina leaders in the Armed Forces, both on active duty and in civilian-military, the Academies, and top executive leaders from the Department of Defense at the Nation’s capital.

Through roundtable and panel discussions, the Symposium discusses the current state for Latina professional working women in the United States. Throughout the course of a full day of panels, guests are inspired and motivated by leading experts in their respective fields. Welcome remarks were provided by Robert E. Bard, President & CEO, LATINA Style, Inc. Mistress of ceremony, SMSgt Christian Johnson, U.S. Air Force continued to motivate the audience and welcomed the following sponsors on stage for remarks.
